Celebrating Cuban History

Established by the Academia de las Luminarias de las Bellas Artes (ALBA) and its founder Pedro Roman, Cuban Culture in Exile Heritage Park features monuments and landmarks that range from picture markers to stone handprints to ceramic murals. All of them honor high-profile names in Cuban history, like Olga Guillot, Celia Cruz and Damos Perez Prado.

These heroes of Cuban independence aren’t the only ones whose names and efforts of celebrated at the park though. The community that was involved with the creation and filling of the park with all of these pieces are memorized throughout the park as well.

Featuring a stage as well as plenty of open of space for community engagement, Cuban Culture in Exile Heritage Park allows audiences to experience what it contains in any way they wish.
